OUR STORY

Interior Design is the art and science of enhancing the interior of a building/space to achieve a healthier and more aesthetically pleasing environment for the people using the space. At our firm, that’s what we aim to achieve for our clients.

B Interior Design Studio, LLC was founded in 2010 and was launched full time in 2018 in New Orleans, LA. B Interior specializes in commercial & residential design projects with expert knowledge in, interior design, space planning, project management, and consulting services which also includes, space utilization/optimization studies.

B Interior is a Licensed, Louisiana Registered Interior Design Firm, Woman owned, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Small and Emerging Business (SEB), and a Hudson Initiative Certified Firm. The company holds a credential in LEED AP Building Design + Construction which is the leading credential in sustainable/green design.

OUR APPROACH

Our services are competitive because “we consider our clients”. We care not only about the design of their space(s) and the quality of life that it provides, but we also care about their mind and heart. We desire to be connected with our clients by providing them with innovative design concepts and educating them on design and construction selections, processes, and procedures. Our design process considers the client, users, and space as a whole.

Our design intent for our clients is for them to operate in a functional & beautifully designed space. A space that exudes organization, makes sense spatially, helps improve the client’s quality of life, protects their health, safety and welfare, and encourages increased productivity.

We find that a project’s success is better managed using reliable project management delivery methods. Planning our work at the beginning of the project and working the plan through phases, delivers successful results. Our attention to detail and planning makes our firm a great choice.

Brittny Barnes, NCIDQ, LEED AP BD+C

Brittny’s love for design runs deep and is the reason why she desires for everyone to experience a well-designed space!

A lead designer who has designed and project managed projects from New Orleans to New York and beyond. With 16+ years of experience, she has been responsible for managing, designing, and delivering building development projects of varying sizes, complexities, and multi-million dollar budgets.

Brittny is a Licensed, Registered Interior Designer with the State of Louisiana and holds a LEED AP Building Design + Construction credential. She is proficient with managing project teams, plans, budgets, and oversees and documents all aspects of each specific project while working closely with sub-consultants and vendors to insure the scope and direction of each project is on schedule and on budget.
